Palace Digital Studios created a :30 open, graphics for on air spots, bumpers, and interior graphics for "2002 Team Trials for the Olympic Winter Games." The challenge was to design an overall look for the disparate sports of speed skating, curling and biathalon using older footage that required some major retouching to update. Utilizing a red, white and blue palette, designer Occhicone created contemporary winter icons, colored rings, and American flag imagery that was then integrated with layers of heavily color corrected and After Effects treated live action footage and type treatments.
