Rabbit Ears Entertainment’s first new title in a decade, Tom Thumb, narrated by John Cleese with music by Elvis Costello, is due out in 2007 as a book, a hi-def DVD/video and digitally recorded audiobook. The long-awaited addition to the Rabbit Ears series of classic storybooks is in production at Palace Production Center.
Rabbit Ears re-introduced its entire catalog as audiobooks with Random House’s Listening Library and Starbucks and plans to launch direct sales of videos/DVDs and books through www.rabbitears.com later this year.

Critics called the series “perfect family listening.” The magazine also listed Rabbit Ears “The Night Before Christmas,” narrated by Meryl Streep, as one of 10 “Favorite Holiday Audios.” The Rabbit Ears titles were featured in the magazine’s “The Best Audiobooks of 2006” issue.
The Children’s Music Web, an online non-profit resource for children, teachers and children’s musicians worldwide, presented Rabbit Ears Entertainment with a judge’s special award for its storytelling series of videos and audiobooks.
